I fly to Southern California tomorrow, then travel to Mexicali Sunday - then, FINALLY, I'll be sleeved Monday Feb 15th! I can't wait! - It seems a bit unreal that it is actually happening after all these months of research and preparation.  My freezer and cupboards are stocked with stuff I can have post-op, including my super rich chicken and beef broth recipes from Cook's Illustrated. All that is left to do today is finish packing and take pre-op measurements and photos. I''m several pounds down on pre-op diet, so that's a good start at least!

Feeling very calm and confident, (I think, I have been having trouble sleeping all week, so who knows!)

I'll have my laptop and will try to post from the hospital and let y'all know how everything went.

XOX,
Margo

Hi Margo,

You fellow BC'er ....how's things over in Olympic Town?

You have made an amazing decision and picked a trusted surgeon.  I'll be thinking of you on Monday and that pre op loss will only help get you off to a great start with a shrunken liver for surgery.
