Hi Kelly, thank you for your posts. I've been following you since I started looking into surgery. Your meals look good and I'm so glad to see you are eating a variety of foods. My surgery was in March and at this point I'm eating more normal foods and more volume then I used too. I'm worried about it but I'm still losing and plan on getting down 30 more pounds but I want to eat what I like and what you are eating makes me think I'm on the right track.
thanks again,
Karen
thanks again,
Karen
Do you eat three meals a day with no snacks or do you snack also? Just wondering.
I feel better about my little sleeve...I cannot eat that much, although, I am just 6 months out and some days varies.
did you always eat whatever or did you limit your carbs?
Thanks for sharing. Hope you don't mind the questions!

I try to eat 3 meals with 2 snacks...but it varies, Im not a food nazi with myself :)
I dont limit my carbs....I did during the first 6 months but then slowly added them back in and now eat them in moderation/balance with other foods. I just made a video before this one you can see at my youtube link below if youre interested - showing the carbs I choose to eat now...for instance, whole grain instead of processed or refined flour.

I, too, have followed your videos for some time. I was poking around Youtube when I found them, and you've been a great source of information for me.
Thanks for posting this. It's really interesting to see what you can eat. It looks like you're eating portions a normal, skinny person would eat. One of my fears is that I will always draw attention to myself by how little I eat, it's comforting to know down the road I will be able to eat more normally.
May I ask, how big was the bougie your surgeon used? How much could you eat your first few months?
It's clear this surgery still requires good choices. You're certainly eating enough that if you chose to eat junk food for every meal, it would be harder to keep the weight off.
You look beautiful by the way! :)
