I did it!!

So I did it guys!! I bit the bullet, tool the leap, and got my vertical sleeve done on Thursday. I'm so glad i did!! And for those of you that talked me off that old slippery ledge of canceling a big Thank you! The surgery went smooth and my recovery has been great so far.  I mean very manageble pain, just one time with nausea when I had potassium liquid (yuk!), today I walked the kids to the park and even went to church. I feel oh so blessed and can't wait to see what is in store on this journey of mine. Dr. Ali of Smart Dimensions in Fountain Valley was calm and confident. Thank you!

Liquid potasium!  That stuff is SOOOOO nasty!  GACK!

I was so glad when my surgeon finally told me I could go back tot he pills!  (That was at about 6 weeks out.)  Check with your surgeon from time to time and hopefully you can go back to your pills, too eventually.

I am happy you have joined the reanks of the "sleeved"!!!  It sunds like you have a wonderful attitude and intend to live your life to the fullest!
