Life is Funny!

Just thinking how if "you" loose 100lbs you look like a different person. If I loose 100lbs noone can tell or they say "I can see it in your face."SMH

I think most people see it in their face at first.  They say you lose it from the outer extremities first.  Face, arms, legs, butt,  my tummy and boobs are the last to go  sigh  oh well.  I'm sure you'll look a LOT different,  you've only just begun,   good luck :o) jeani

It is funny.  Funnier that we can see 10, 20 50 pound loss on a big person cuz WE'RE there, but smaller people can't see that.  But remember, some people only see "fat" .  After I lost60 pounds, my co-workers says "you look good, what have you lost so far, 10 pounds?"  I'm down two dress sizes, that's more than 10.

I've lost 115 and people say the darndest things.  
Hey skinny minny (oh now that I'm smaller than you... hmmm)
Oh you're so pretty (wasn't I pretty before I lost weight?)
You look great!  (oh thanks)
Nice outfit; jeans and tees (but didn't you notice my fly girl efforts before?)

Just wait!  You're time is coming for more of the goodies.  They do feel good, but then I go into a slight depression of how hurtful and cruel people can be, even when they dont mean to be.

Just remember you are losing weight for your self. I know it makes us feel good for someone to notice that you lost weight. Just remember your main goal.

 Just keep up the work and the day will be here before you know it, YOU will SEE the difference and not need nor care what others say!  When I had only lost 4lbs people said Oh, I can see that you are losing!!  I said where?  They said in your face!  I said well, thank you however in my face is not what I want to hear however at this time and with only four lbs gone, I guess I should be happy it shows anywhere!  I think people are just trying to make you feel better and trying to give you encouragement on your journey.  Just be polite back and say thank you.  That is all that is really needed.  Then remember that it doesn't matter what others say as this is for yourself and not for others.

I asked my son (14 y/o) yesterday if he could tell i lost 29 lbs and he was like yeah mom your double chin is gone . WOW I'm SMH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
