Surgery 11 months ago today
Jean,
You are such an inspiration to me. I am glad to know that someone in my age range has done as well as you have! Your picture is the best, always a smiling face! My story is so much like yours! I just hope I can do as well on the surgery as you and that I will become a more encouraging person to others as you have to me! Congrats on your hard work and I know you can do whatever you want to do!
Thanks for being here for all of us! What goes around comes around and you have much goodness coming back to you!

Great Job!!!! Im so proud of you, you were one of the first people I met on OH and they just don't come better! I love that you are just you, you don't pretend to be perfect, you don't push "your plan" you're human and make mistakes and pick yourself up and keep going. It helps those of us who have come after you see that we can do this…and we don't have to be some crazy weight loss fiends we just have to be committed to this journey and we can do it, just like our Jeani Beani. I see lots of posts on here and when I read yours I can really relate to your journey and your lifestyle. You're an inspiration and good friend. Im so glad I met you and cant wait to get our groove on this Saturday… get ready to **** it up… Jeani and Jen are on the loose! And remember DEMI cup… *****!
love you!
love you!
Thanks so much sweetie, i really appreciate your kind words. You are a great gal and i am so happy that we are such good friends. I try to be honest in all my posts. I am somewhat of a rebel, always have been, but i love people and i love sharing this great journey we are all on together with you and all the other wonderful people on here. I think sometimes some of the people on here can be a little militant and if that works for them that's great but i'm not as disciplined as some and i feel we need to share the good, the bad and the ugly. I could probably have made it to goal by now if i were stricter in my habits, but i really did this for my health and my future and everything is so much better now. So what if it takes a little longer to reach goal. In my mind i am already a success and the changes i have made in my lifestyle will see my through. I can't wait until Sat, I'm like a kid waiting for Christmas lol I plan on partying like i never have before lol Not sure i'm the ****ty type but i'll give it the good old college try hahaha can't wait to see you sat yahoo, I'm so excited about getting pictures can't wait, i don't see it myself, i mean i know my clothes are smaller and the number on the scale is smaller but i still don't really see it, hopefully with before and now pics side by side i will finally see it :o) jeani
You have such a big heart Jeani I always like to read your honest, positive posts! :)
You are an inspiration to us newbies on here! Well done, you have broken the mould in your family, that takes courage!
I too am loving this journey already, it really is a "freeing" feeling to shed these pounds, my knee has stopped hurting already, I can run up my stairs with puffing and many more NSV's already at nearly 4 weeks post op!
Keep posting!

Thanks sweetie, i used to eat ibuprofin and nabumetone (nsaids) like they were candy every day. The pain was so bad i limped around for a year before they figured out what the problem was. After surgery the pain was just gone. After i lost about 30 lbs and i have never looked back. It's funny because i won my appeal because i thought i would always need nsaids but since the surgery i have maybe taken them twice in 11 months :o) This has truly been a miracle in my life and i get so happy for all the nsv's and sv's everyone shares. :o) jeani
