My daughter in law is Vietnamese and in her home there is one of those for every 4 people and they do use it right on the table, hers are not electric they are I think propane or butane. They cook the meat right on the grill as they eat the other food. She cuts the meat up into bite sized pieces then cooks the meat and you eat it as it gets done. She makes the most wonderful Pho and so many other types of foods that are just so fresh and yummy. I do love her!

I ADORE grilled kabobs - I put everything from bacon (I dont know about that anymore, LOL) to squash, mini tomatoes, mushrooms, chicken, beef, red onions. I don't even need to flavor them when they come off the outdoor grill, sometimes use the flavor enhanced wood chips. Can't wait to get to eat those again! Your's look super yum!
