A stall; ok....BUT a gain! Really?!?
I have read multiple posts about the week 2-4 stall. I am on week 3 and haven't lost much last week and this week I have gained 2lbs. REALLY?
I have met my protein 75% of the days this past week. I haven't met my fluid in take, but I have come really close. I have taken my vitamins 75% of the days this week as well. I have not gone over 800 calories in a day. Most days I was closer to 600 calories. I have walked a couple of times this week. I understand things will more than likely get better but geeeee wizzz! Gained 2lbs COME ON! I go to my 3 week post-op today. Maybe my doc will tell me something that I may be doing wrong. Gonna bring the last 3 days food tracker with me. (Only last 3 days because I just started tracking since I just started solid food stage Monday.)

It happens.
This week I have gone from 169 on Sunday (which would be putting myself at losing 100lbs) to today at 175. Do I really think I gained 6lbs in 5 days? No. To do that, I would have had to eat tons of extra calories and I know from tracking that I'm around 650 calories and at least 80g of protein a day.
Stalls are frustrating and they happen, often. Hang in there and it will break. I promise. But you need to do your part as well. Drink ALL your fluid (I drink at least 3L each day), eat ALL your protein and take ALL your vitamins EVERY day. The habits you establish now will get you through.

Calm down, it's part of the process.
I stall, gain, lose, gain, hold.. lose.. gain..
It's totally normal, just stay on plan and the trend will be downwards. You cannot expect to drop like a rock steadily all the way down! It would be nice, but that's not the way it works!
If it wigs you out too much, don't weigh daily- weekly or every other week. If you weigh daily, you will see all the little fluctuations in (water) weight you go through.

Dear Jo777 good morning I wanted to share, you made me laugh so hard cuz the way you texted stall, gain, loose, gain, hold, loose, gain etc is so right on and your right that is normal. Some time i feel like a yo yo but it all makes sense. Thanks for making my day. You R a peach. continued success. Respectfully Dolly
Thanks all! I'm feeling better about this. I am having wardrobe confidence even though the scale is beating me up. Monday wore my usual 30 pants; baggy, but wore them anyway. Tuesday, Wednesday, and today I am wearing some old (2 years or more) size 28. Glad about that. Will donate all the 30's soon.
