Holy **** - 10 days

So I've met all of my pre-surgery requirements and went in today to see the surgeon, and to get a surgery date scheduled. I was thinking June maybe July, Nope Monday May 16th - 10 freakin days. I am so happy & excited. I was given a little quiz on what I knew about bariatric surgeon and everything I knew I have learned from all of you amazing people. Thank you.

Yeah!  It's better that way, just jump right in, the wait is horrible!  Anyway, now you don't have to do a full 2 week pre-op diet :0 If your doc makes you do that.....

yeah for you,  i'm so happy for you.  I agree with op.   I only had 14 days once i found out i won my appeal and it is good to just do it and get on with the post op life.   You'll be so happy you did this  :o) jeani

Whooo hoooo.....great. Take a deep breath get prepared at home so you don't have to worry about anything....I sometimes think it's a good idea to have some meals made up ahead of time in the freezer if you have a family that you need to cook for then that way it's done because you don't know how you will be feeling for the 1st week or so....I'm so happy for you....keep us posted...another one on the losers bench ....yipee!!!  

Congratulations! 10 days is perfect timing. It gives you the opportunity to identify questions that you may not have had before, to buy those chewable vitamins and supplements if you haven't gotten them, stock up on protein, and make food in advance if you wish.
