Four months post-op / down 62 pounds!
Hi! Today is my four-month post-op date. I'm down 62 pounds and at the halfway point in my weight loss! I feel so great! I am running stairs at work like a maniac - my friend and I do 44 flights twice a day (each "run" is just under 20 minutes). I'm eating 500-1000 calories a day, usually in the neighborhood of 600 calories.
My weight loss thus far (I start with my weight at the beginning of my two-week pre-op diet):
12/28/10: 263 pounds
1/11/11: 255 pounds (surgery date - lost 8 pounds on pre-op diet)
2/11/11: 233 pounds (-22 pounds)
3/11/11: 220 pounds (-13 pounds)
4/11/11: 213 pounds (-7 pounds)
5/11/11: 201 pounds (-12 pounds)
I love all the support and motivation and advice here! I soak it in like a sponge. :) I think my biggest lessons learned since surgery are eating protein first, drinking lots of fluids (this has gotten much easier as time has gone by), and tracking my eating (the bane of my existence but I've gotten much better at it!). My challenge has been a continued struggle with nighttime eating, but I am working all sorts of different strategies to address it.
Thanks again everyone for making this such a great forum, I am here many times throughout the day even I'm not posting (just popping in frequently at work, haha).

Edited to add - I've even been feeling so good lately, I tried on a cute summer dress yesterday. Believe me, no one has seen me in a dress in a million years! I didn't buy it (uhh, needed Spanx to wear in public), but I'm getting there!
