Since the gall bladder releases bile to help digest fat, if you cut every molecule of fat out of your diet until you see the doctor ... if it is your gall bladder ... you should feel enormous relief.  Fat-free EVERYTHING.  It is worth a try anyway.  Thinking about you :-)

I'm with Dorothy - kinda sounds like gallbladder.  Is the pain just under your breast mainly to the right of center and shooting thru to your back up into your shoulder blades?  That is how I would describe my gallbladder attack.  (Hope that helps!)

First thing I thought as well was gall bladder. The pain can manifest in many different areas depending on the individual.

Like others said, cut out the fat and ask the doc when you see him/her.

Feel better lady!

Like some others here, gall bladder was one of the first things I thought of.  I had mine out 21 years ago, and everyone suffers gall bladder pain differently. Some have almost no pain, others have pain so bad they are almost non-functional.  I can tell you the stomach and back pain I had was intense.

I think its a good possibility you might have stones.  Keep us posted.
