9 weeks out with pics

Okay, I had my 8 week doc's appt. Thursday and I have 30 lbs. I look at my pictures and I have a hard time seeing the difference. Am I the only one who looks at themselves and doesn't recognized change? I look in the mirror and I don't see the person in the picture---first of all she is much, much, much bigger the person I see in the mirror each morning. I have such a warped sense of what I look like.

Everyone says they can see it in my face! My husband keeps grabbing my chin and asking where it went lol! I don't know rather to laugh or hit him!

I definitely see a substantial difference especially in your face but also through your midsection. I bet you are starting to carry yourself in a more confident manner too. Give yourself some time and you can't help but see the change everyone else is seeing!

Revision to Gastric Sleeve June 10, 2010 with band removal same day after five years of being banded. Loving my life so much more with the sleeve!

I am five weeks out and last week took a picture at one month and 30 lbs. lost. I was so depressed because I saw no difference. However, everyone keeps saying how great I look and people who don't even know I had the surgery notice that I have lost weight, so there obviously is a difference. Sooner or later, I am sure I will have to see it myself.
