Hello all me again and going under the knife again for the 5Th time this year. Having the nerve removed from my elbow. It got trapped in my funny bone back in January did pt did not work . I will be happy to feel my hand again it tingles all the time because of the nerve being pinched so it will be nice to be able to feel it again. Tomorrow they will have to cut open the elbow and release the nerve and attach it under my muscle so it will not move again.

I will be excited when I announce that I am having my tummy tuck that is the only surgery I really want I did not expect to have 5 surgery's this year. Have a great night all.

My surgeon gave me the tool. Now it is up to me to use it right.

Your right had my vsg surgery than had to have my ACL surgery because I lost weight my knee would not stay in place. Than had my GB surgery than my mouth surgery now this elbow surgery i hope i am finished for this year.

I told my weight loss surgeon wow have bariatric surgery and your whole body falls apart he told me no no that is not right you did the best thing for ya lol. I know i did and would have my VSG all over again if i had to.

My surgeon gave me the tool. Now it is up to me to use it right.

please be conscious to drink and stay hydrated after surgery. it is really easy to forget to drink when you are painful or asleep from pain meds.

you will do great, happy you will have some normalcy back.

I'm having surgery with Dr. Wood on Thursday. One of the things he said that made me feel better about this is that he's only had one leak in about 300 surgeries, and that it was on his fourth one...and that he changed the way he did things a little (overstitching the fundus) and has had no problem since.  Are you saying your stomach got a leak or that it was just one of the 5 inscisions made.  Also, what was your experience with him?  He sounds wonderful, but they all probably do. His office is a *****aotic, but overall, I like his staff a lot, so far, especially Erin, his nutritionist and Michael Jr, his son who runs his office, I think.  Very kind and responsive people, as we Dr. Wood when we talked on the phone. I'm flying in from Seattle on Tuesday.  Time to set up one of those little measuring thingees!

Good luck with your surgery and you as well, Val.
