Good job! That was huge and you put everything into perspective. You are having surgery tomorrow that will change your life. Its even very possible that some of those foods that draw you in now, won't after the surgery - definitely not for a while anyway!

Good luck on your surgery and recovery. I look forward to hearing about your progress.

PS - My birthday is on Friday. I received an emailed coupon for a BOGO at Country Buffet. My son is "TAKING" me to the movies that day and I think he would love to TAKE me to dinner too. Buffets are nice for kids because they can choose what they want. Since my meal would be free I cannot feel bad for just eating a little protein. I won't have to cook or think about food that evening BONUS! Seems like an odd place to go after WLS but I think in this case, it all works.

Good for you sweetie! I'd say your head is REALLY in the game, and you're in the right place to be a great success with this surgery. The idea that we have to eat three heaping platefuls because someone else is paying, is some of that old "stinkin thinkin" and you've gotten past it. Good luck tomorrow!
