I am still alive. Guess my body is still trying to adjust to my new sleeve. Just got more IV's Today. I am going to have to start counting my oz's to make sure I getting all 64 oz's in a day and get all the protein. I thought I was, guess not.  . I really believe things are going to be looking better for me.

Will it hurt my sleeve if I drink flat diet sprit? It helps me when I feel sick.
God Bless
Evie

I was told I could have flat diet soda.  I think that would be fine if it makes you feel better.  Look for a container that has ounces right on the side so you can see how much you are getting in daily. Just keep sippin :)

My surgeon said yes. But make sure it's really flat - that takes a while. I used to pour a can into a cup and let it sit overnight with a little ice.

Try journaling your food on myfitnesspal.com or a similar site, it keeps you in reality with exactly how much you are eating.  I think yogurt or something more substantial with some calories and carbs would be better than the liquid calories you get from soda. Not to mention probably a better habit to fall into...just my .02.
