I am on the liquids pre-op diet right now and have some SF jello & SF pudding in the pantry but not completely sure the best way to use them with protein powders, milk, water, ice, etc.  I would love your ideas!  I need some variety apart from the vanilla, choc, strawberry protein shakes!

What do you suggest?

I don't add jello to my shakes, but I do add SF pudding mix.  I mix banana with vanilla protein = yummy!  I add frozen fruit to my shakes too.  Good luck.

If you can have yogurt, if you add the s/f jello to the non fat plain its lots of protein and tastes pretty good,  don't add the whole package,  play around with it.  good luck,  this part of it sucks but so worth it in the end  :o) jeani

I have my surgery date, July 25, 2011, and the part I'm more worried about is the pre-op diet. I am to start my pre-op diet June 27th and like the prior post, the protein drink is what I'm more concerned with, not the surgery itself.  I too, would like to know what is best.  What to mix it with, what flavors are best.........mix with milk or water.......make shakes or just drinks???  Any advice would be very much appreciated.  I'm not much of a "drinker", so I think this is going to be the hardest part.   Thanks for any help out there.

I didn't add protein to my pudding until recently, but I wanted to add that the absolute best SF pudding to me is the chocolate fudge version. Something about it makes it way better than the regular chocolate!
