Was in the restaurant and the waitress took out order my husband ordered the Ham plate which comes with tons of ham 3 eggs and potatoes and toast.

She asked me what i wanted I said 1 egg please she said that is it. I said yes lol. I got my egg and than took 1 oz of ham from my husbands plate. I was so full by the time I ate the egg and ham. I went up and paid the bill the cashier asked me what I had to eat I said 1 egg she said that is it 1 egg and a piece of ham from my husbands plate.

She said wow wish I could eat so small and look as good as you look lol. I smiled and said yes it does not take much to fill me up. I love my stomach so much and try to take care of it the best I can try not to over eat because I do not want to ever eat big again.

My surgeon gave me the tool. Now it is up to me to use it right.

I agree. My wife, my 6 y/0 daughter and I (my wife and I have had WLS) went out to dinner the other night and our bill was $17. And, we were stuffed.

I love that we eat so little. I picked up lunch the other day in a deli opposite Bryant Park in NYC and sat and ate in the park. It was a hot buffet at $7.50/lb. I had a tiny piece of broiled talapia filet a tiny piece of thai curry chicken one broccoli floret and one 1/2 round of zucchini. Total tab $2.45.  I couldn't finish the talapia and didn't touch the veggies. Awesome! Thank you Dr. Yatco.

Last night we went out for dinner with my parents for Father's Day, and I was scared about eating something so high in fat and carbs and sodium, but I researched the menu in advance and plugged what I thought was a good comparison into my calorie tracker and I was SHOCKED that it was 79% of my RDI of calories and over what I would have liked for carbs and fat. But I plugged it in nonetheless, ate "skinny" proteins with only 1-2 carbs and fats for the rest of the day and worked out like a maniac at the gym in preparation for dinner!

Then when dinner finally came and I ordered my appetizer of eggplant rollatini, I could only eat HALF of one of the two pieces on the plate, plus a bite of my brother's delicious tilapia (which he gave me the leftovers of, yahoo!!).

Score! I ate well, felt satisfied, stayed within plan, and was the cheapest one at the table to boot!

LOL my 5 year old grandson can out eat me lol. I love sitting next to him when we both eat he looks at me and tells me grandma your not going to even eat that all. He is right. He tells me he will eat more than me and he does every time.

I feel like a little bird eating. It is the weirdest thing to be full on so little. This is a gift.

My girl friend had her sleeve back in April and she just called me to say hay do you listen to your stomach when it is full.

I said yes you need to listen to it because if you take one more bite of food some times you get sick and i do not like to get sick. She finds this hard to do because we eat so little and she just can not believe she is full on 2oz of meat and has no room for any thing else.

I told her that is how it is you will learn  once you over eat and get sick you are very careful not to do it again and again. She said she knows now she just got sick for the second time because she did not listen to her stomach lol. I guess we all have done this from time to time.

My surgeon gave me the tool. Now it is up to me to use it right.
