Next month will be my 1 year "sleeve-aversary".  YEA!!  Having some inner ear problems so doc put me on Prednisone tablets.  Have any of you be on this? If so how did you take it and did you have any problems with it?

Prednisone is a steroid.  It can cause appetite increase so be mindful of that and vigilant so that you do not get derailed on your WLS journey.  Also, it can be rough on the stomach mucosa (lining) so make sure you eat with each dose and do not take it on an empty stomach.  You should be fine if you can stave of those munchies.

I hope you get better soon and do not have too much trouble with the munchies.

I was on prednisione less than a week after surgery due to a reaction to something in surgery, either anibiotic or anethesia...

I obviously wasn't able to eat with it and didn't have any issues whatsoever. I'm sure your doctor will know about it if he is prescribing it but if you take it for more than a couple days, you will want to slowly step down from it as it can cause some problems if you abruptly stop taking it. If you read my blog from the first few weeks you can see what I said as I took it but overall it was really uneventful and worked great at knocking out the reaction. I think it was 5 days worth of the second smallest dose...maybe 10 mcg if I remember correctly...
