I'm almost 2 weeks out and still on clear liquids.

I'm crawling the walls, any suggestions for something to do today that does NOT involve FOOD? :(

Can't go into the water either :(

Help!

Good book, cold drink, hammock in the shade.

Croquet or bocce (get someone to pick up the balls for you).

Cribbage or scrabble on the patio.

Feed bait to the fishies.

Bike ride if you're up to it, car ride/road trip if you're not.

Local zoo., park, public gardens, parade, and of course FIREWORKS!

Remember to pack and drink your water, and take it easy whatever you do.... Happy 4th to the new Loser's Bench members!

That about says it all, MN Mama! Be thankful for the things you can do and reflect on all the things you will be doing on the next 4th of July.

Always the best wishes, Sue

I started out with a walk today.  Do you have a nice park  that you can walk in? Or even just a couple of times around a mall to get moving?  Then I went to visit an elderly neighbor who won't have anyone around today - she was very excited to have company.  Now I am getting ready to watch a baseball game and organize my computer files.  None of this may sound exciting, but it keeps me busy and that is my plan :)

20 lbs. of this was pre-op.  But I will take a weight loss anytime

Get out of the house; do anything, walk, window-shop, hit a park.

I find I think a lot more about food when I'm chilling at home.

Thanks all. I am sorry that I am such a debbie downer, am just having a real hard time.

It is over 100 today so that limits outside stuff. The hubbie just pulled out our rock band stuff and we played that for a bit. Fun!

I am just going to have to relearn life without food being in the forefront.

I do a little art work, like art journaling, digital scrapbooking, or even karaoke at home.  Or I even download from netflix a movie to my ipad and get on my treadmill to watch it.  Makes the time go really fast and before I know it I've been on the TM for an hour.

Two weeks out I was cleaning out closets and cabinets.  Organizing made me feel good.  Also started going through my clothes.  At 2 weeks I hesitated, but by 4 weeks, I got rid of more, and now at 8 weeks I need new slacks badly!!  (Something to look forward to.)

Going to a mall to walk, walk walk (and sit when you are tired) isn't half bad in 100 degree heat.  I even went to the beach one day without going into the water.  Put my beach chair at the edge and got a good foot and leg soaking.    Going back to work with a tan was pretty cool LOL.

I also organized my coupons, caught up on my reading and enjoyed the rest and relaxation.  Before you know it you will be back in the saddle.

Oh, and I went to Sephora and had a makeover.  First time ever.
