I put on my pre-op jeans today.....
I was cleaning out my closet again. And I found the pair of Jeans that I decided to keep, to remind myself of where I started. Well, actually I had already lost some weight when those fit......so I put them on.
And I had to hold them up, and hold them out. And I stood there alone in my bedroom, and I cried. Not for being happy, but for the fact that I never saw myself as THAT BIG. Which is odd, because I don't see myself as having lost all that much on most days.....but today was really quite a "face yourself" day for me.
There were handfulls of material everywhere. I am still a little overwhelmed. I'm sorry, that I don't own a fancy cellular phone that I can connect to my computer. One day, I will ask my sil to take a picture or two, and I will post it. I think later on tonight, I may put them back on, and do some thinking on it.....who I am, who I was....who I will be.
So for you pre-op folks, hang onto at least one pr of pants. Down the road it is something to think about....

You do realize that you are very close to losing 100 lbs, right?
Just for fun, try this: go to a grocery or pet store. Get down a 28 lb box or bucket of cat litter. Now lift down another and pick one up in each hand. You were carrying around 3 1/2 of those things that you have put down. That's huge.
Congrats!
