I am not getting full like I've been told at my dr's office that I should be.. I was told that I should only be able to consume 2 tablespoons of food. Well, I can eat more... quite a bit more and it scares the crap out of me. Any one else experience this or is it just me?

At 2 months out, I could eat 2-3 oz of food comfortably, depending on how dense it was.  2 tablespoons is for when you're just starting out on food coming off of the full liquid diet.

Well, I was told this about 2-3 weeks ago. I can eat like three crackers with tune or chicken salad on it... I am very full at that point though. Not sure how many ounces that is, but it's more than what I thought I should be consuming. I feel guilty to eat so much sometimes.

3 crackers with chicken or tuna salad on it? i dont think that is too much, but of course contact your doctor if it concerns you.  i am 4 week post op and can eat about 3-4 ozs of cottage cheese and feel full, but only about 2 ounce of tuna or chicken.  if you are concerned about eating too much, how about getting a small food scale, weigh out your food in ounces, and just eat that amount?
the big question is could you have just eaten that little before you were sleeved?

How far post op are you?  Have you discussed this with your doctor?

I am 8 weeks out. Yes. I did discuss this and I was told that I should only be consuming 2 tablespoons at a time.

Ummmm.....at 8 weeks out, consuming 2 tablespoons at a time??!!! Use your common sense and realize your doc is wrong, NOT YOU!

I'd be in a suicide mission if I was eating 2 tablespoon sized meals at this point. Unless your doc wants you on 2-3 shakes a day, there's no way you could even get 20 g of protein in just a couple of tablespoons of food.

I'm 6 weeks out, and I'm eating generally, 2 oz of meat, sometimes 3 if I'm not eating anything else, or I'll add like a 1/4 cup of veggies or something. I could easily eat a cup of yogurt or cottage cheese, but I try to keep it around 1/2 cup for the most part.

Crackers are slider foods. You might want to try just dense protein first and a bit of veggie after. 2-3oz sounds normal. Do you have a food scale? They are very helpful and not too expensive.

Two tablespoons at 8 weeks out seems like it's too little. Of course you need to do what your dr. says but I'm 3 weeks out and I eat 1/4 cup (4 tablespoons) or close to it. That's of something like cottage cheese. Not quite so much if it's chicken or refried beans. How often are you supposed to eat?
