I thank you all very much for caring enough to respond to my last forum. Answers to some of the comments.
I post positive as well as negative, if I do not post often, it is because I am working, 134 hrs last week as a caregiver. I just need to learn to take care of myself also.  I would be one of the first people on here to help anyone, if I am able to answer a question. Well, today I just chilled out and took a much long needed nap, didn't worry about the house or yard. this evening I have enjoyed my family. Can not get any better that getting all the hugs and kiss's from my grandkids. I only had the one question to ask eariler, Guess I vent my thoughts on here a little to much, sorry.
God Bless
Evie

I don't think you vent too often. This is a process. We all have those thoughts and worries at some point along the way... and if you think you'll be exempt from such worries you're lying to yourselves.

And the beautiful part about it is because you were brave enough to ask, someone else with doubts or questions now knows.

Glad you got some time to relax and take it easy.

Leah

Evie, we are worried about you.  It sounds like you are being really sensitive (i.e. getting upset about no one or not enough people responding to your posts).  This happens to all of us sometimes.  Sometimes this forum just hits a slow time or the right folks to comment on your issue just aren't around.  Just take a deep breath and relax.  It concerns me that you immediately go into pity/victim/feel sorry for me mode.

I think you need to meet with your surgeon about how your healing/eating is going, your NUT about how your eating is going, and a therapist/counselor regularly to help with the stress and anxiety.  You have a lot on your plate and that person can be a regular sounding board for you.  Someone who gets to know you specifically and can regularly help you with the work, family and life issues.

Certainly keep posting here, too!  Don't be a stranger.  It seems like we see you around when you have issues or are stressed and then you disappear for awhile.  I can understand with your busy schedule, but it feels all or nothing.  Maybe try to strive for more balance in your life.

I'm not a doctor or a medical professional in any capacity.  But we care and are concerned and I've responded to your posts before with similar advice and support.   Please start listening to our advice; otherwise i'm sure how you can understand that it feels to us like it falls on deaf ears.  We mean well!

I agree with Silly Sweet-- my post was also made out of concern. I see a lot of patterns in your posting and worry about your health-- both mental and physical. When you get stressed out because of work/money/family/etc you seem to either overeat and worry about stretching out your sleeve or eating something (most likely something totally on plan) and not having any restriction at all. To me, it is this all-or-nothing mentality that has me worried about you, and I know that for me, talking to a counselor about it really helps.

I'm not sure where you'd fit in talking to a counselor with 100+ hours of work weekly, but I'd look into it if possible.

We all want you to keep posting here-- that's what these boards are for. To voice concerns, vent and ask questions. It just seems like the posts you've made the last couple of months (at least since I've been online here and a member) have all been pretty much the same and that can't possibly be healthy for your mind/psyche... too stressful!

We're concerned for you-- please try to help yourself by talking about some of your stressors and planning for some alternative anti-stress behaviors for when the times get tough-- we could all benefit from something like that.

Good luck!

When I am troubled naps are the best. Right now I wish this dam heat would go away so I could get out outdoors and get some exercise.

You can never post too much, that is why we are all here to help each other. Every question you have, probably 10 other people have the same question and you help them too! You are much loved so keep on posting and take good care of yourself!
