Need input on good VSG surgeon, best price etc.

Dr. Moses Shieh is who I am considering here in Florida for my son, Cost at Holy Cross is 13,900 for everything.  If we stay here at Fort Myers Beach where I live then it is 18,000 at Lee Memorial.

Dr. Shieh is my cardiologist's best friend and he just did my severe ventral hernia repair and Abd wall repair and at the same time he and Dr. Wittenborn together did my panniculectomy with anchor cut TT.  I love Dr. Shieh. 

I am so glad you had a good experience with him alos.  I spoke with the girls in the office yesterday.  Dr. S is going to start scheduling his self pay pts Sept 14.  It will take a few months to get back with all the insurances and I understand they have to reapply and connect with Care Credit also because Lee Mem. not taking it anymore.

I had my VSG with Dr Aceves in Mexicali and had a great experience. He is FACS and a very skilled surgeon. I paid $8250 for my procedure and included a 3 day hospital stay at Almanter Hospital.

I researched and researched out of country surgeons and I narrowed it down to Aceves based on all the reviews, correspondence from former patients and of course talking to his staff.

My mother went with me (leary about me going to MX in the first place) and was truly blown away with the level of care I received, the immaculate hospital and of course Dr Aceves skills. She came back to Connecticut raving about this surgeon to everyone...lol.

It was truly a wonderful experience and I highly recommend him and his staff. I feel like he has given me my life back!

I have read alot of good reveiws about your doctor.  The only thing is when I add in cost of flight and one night in San Diego it adds up to what I would pay here.
