I'm 3 months out today & extremly frustrated that I'm not losing as much as others . I didn't have to do a pre op diet so i'm stuck at only 35lbs lost since surgery . I know it's probably because i'm not drinking enough or doing enough exercise . Sorry for venting but I needed to get it out .

You need to jump onto a know eating plan that WL happens.......

Don't waste your first 6 months where WL is easiest !!!!

Commitment and compliance.......

I agree with Frisco. The first months after WLS really need the pedal to the metal as far as commitment to take advantage of the easier weight loss during this period.  I work out at a gym each day for at least 40 mintues, shoot for 8 glasses of fluid, 600-800 calories, 100 grams of protein, 40 carbs each day. I am 74 days out and have lost 55 lbs since surgery. Hope this helps.

It happens.  Try to NOT compare yourself to others, expecially MEN (sorry guys).  Work the plan...know that it is WORK. Set YOUR goals for you!

I can so relate!!  Take a gander at my page and read my blog and you will see where I was in the beginning.  I struggled and I was doing everything by the book and my surgeon wrote the book...lol.  Seriously, I feel your pain.  But, I can tell you if you really do stick to a good plan and follow all the rules, you wil lose weight.  I am living proof of that.  Just keep plugging along and it will all add up.  It may take you longer than some other people, but what matters is that you get there.  Slow and steady wins the race...remember, this is not a sprint, but a marathon.

Good luck to you.

I am gonna put it in another perspective... You have lost 35lbs in three months!!!  You are doing just fine!  Also, don't compare yourself to anyone else. We all lose at different paces. I agree that you should be workin what ya got to its full potential right now, but I also know how hard it is to drink enough and get on the exercise wagon.  Keep workin at the fluids and do your best to add some form of exercise into your day. Doesn't have to be anything strenuous, walking will do for starters and add on. But most importantly, do your best to stick to the plan laid out for you with moderations along the way to make it doable for you. Good luck and stop comparing you are doing awesome!
