feedback from vets here...(my sleeve education today+ meal plan)
He also said that he uses between a 32 to 34 depending on "what my insides look like" What are your feelings on sizing??
This is a layout of my eating plan:
Day 3-21:
All liquids plus baby food fruit and yogurt
Day 22-60:
3 meals that include 2-3oz protein plus 2oz fruit or veggies
a forth meal/snack of 6oz yogurt or 8oz skim milk plus 10z yogurt
and one additional 8oz serving of milk
maybe extra protein, depending on my need
Day 61- month 6:
3-5oz protein plus 2 oz fruit or veggie 3xday
forth meal/snack 6oz yogurt or 8oz skim milk
additional 8oz skim milk
maybe protein
seven month+ to goal
anything except starchy carbs/veggies or stringy fruit
ONE complex carb serving a day
at goal:
a balanced diet including whole grains
does this sound on par with the norm??
The basic surgery and his data sounds great !!!!!
Just tell him prior to surgery....to use his judgment on your sleeve size....but that you would prefer a 32f if it's looking right to do......
The food you can adjust after your on solids......
I think your gonna do great !!!!!!

My experience indicates you may be overestimating your capacity once you get to solids.
Three ounces of proteins and two ounces of fruits was too much for me (at one sitting) for almost the first year, and I had a 32f bougie.
I will have to admit that my surgeon oversewed and then glued my staple line, so my tummy was a tight 32f, or closer to a 30f.
At almost 3 years out, I can just about hold the amount you are projecting, but there are times when I wind up tossing some of it back up (not often).
When you get to solids, listen to the clues your tummy sends you, and err on the side of eating a little less than your capacity, rather than taking one bite too many.
Good luck, and hugs,
Fred

Wow...... I'm glad to see it works for you...!!!! and shows on the scale.....!!!!
I learned this from my surgeon early on and it only made sense.......
I vowed to be the case study (self appointed) with my surgeons blessings for under eating my sleeve.
The benefits are across the board win, win, win !!!
You lose the weight, establish a better way of eating setting yourself up for long term success.....
And the single most important benefit is that you preserve restriction for long term by not stretching your sleeve. If your a believer that sleeves can't stretch (any size) go with it...and good luck......see where you end up 3-5 years out.....remember it's tissue....not steel....and even steel can stretch with enough force.
I'm thrilled under eating is working for you! I get random PM's all the time both asking about it and confirming it.
Posts like yours is gonna make it hard for me to taper off of OH...... I think your gonna have to start spreading the word !!!!
