Santa Cruz Meet Up Spet 24th!
Our meet up is still on for Sept 24th at 10:30 at the Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk.
This is a family meet up, so bring the kids, family and friends. There are rides, food and the beach right there. Bring your extra clothes and we can do an exchange. Parking is a little walk so I don't think people will want to bring huge amounts of clothes and drag them around but we can exchange from our cars either in Santa Cruz or at dinner. Dinner and dancing will be later in the eve in the Campbell area so children can be taken home and such if thats your lil hearts desire… it is mine hahhaaha
Im checking out The Loft in Downtown San Jose this weekend to see if its a good spot for us to get our swerve on. Capers is down stairs so we could do dinner there which would be nice to have it all in one spot. Ill let you all know how it goes this weekend….
I know there has been less advertising this time around. My life has been insane. I went back to school at night so now on top of 12 hour work days Im in class 3 nights a week till 10:10… ICK
SNACKS & DESSERTS
The Boardwalk is a sweet-tooth paradise!
Marini’s sal****er taffy is located near the Casino Arcade and near Entrance 5. Handmade chocolates, caramel apples, and more sugary delights.
Whiting’s Foods’ scrumptious soft serve cones are highlighted at Carousel Cones by Entrance 3 and the historic black and white booth next to the Haunted Castle. Whiting’s also offers DIP ‘N’ DOTs inside the Casino Arcade, at Entrance 3 and near the Logger’s Revenge.
Favorite Funnel Cakes are cooked to order at a colorful booth near the Giant Dipper. And don’t miss those Deep Fried Twinkies next to Cliff Hanger. On hot days the refreshing Santa Cruz Sno across from the Haunted Castle provides icy creations.
More dairy treats are also located at the Barbary Coast inside Neptune’s Kingdom, Marini’s Yogurt Shop inside the Casino Arcade, Ice Cream Express near Rock ‘n’ Roll, and Super Sundae near Logger’s Revenge.
Look for traditional cotton candy at booths near the Pirate Ship and Giant Dipper as well as the Bright Spot near the Cliff Hanger, and both Marini’s locations.
Popcorn choices are found at Carousel Cones at Entrance 3, the snack booth across from the Giant Dipper, the Kettle Korn booth near Tsunami, the Game Deck snack bar on the second floor of Neptune’s Kingdom, and at both Marini’s locations.
Soft pretzel and gourmet beef jerky (both traditional and Cajun) carts are located at Entrance 3 and next to the Cave Train Adventure.
