trip to ER 12 days out

 i woke up this morning and opened my eyes and the room was spinning.  took my blood pressure and it was 90/55. called the surgeon and his office told me to go to the nearest ER (i have one 5 minutes away vs. the surgeons hospital is over an hour away).  the surgeon called my cell while we were on the way over and told me to have a ct with contrast and an ultrasound of my legs done and to give the ER doc his cell number when i got there.  

My surgeon called me twice and texted me throughout my 6 hours there.  He even knew when reports came back earlier than my nurse did.  I am truly so thankful that I went to him and it turns out everything came back ok.  Ultrasound came back negative for clots and CT came back clean (was worried about a spleen issue because i had a complication during surgery with knicked artery on spleen).  


They are treating it as dehydration, had 2 L of fluids and feel really good.  Sitting on the couch drinking for the rest of the day and follow up with surgeon tomorrow morning.  I really am thankful I have such good care.  

OH WOW what a scare....well I'm happy to hear that it's nothing bad and that you'll be ok...

Glad your ok. Did y ou say the surgeon knicked your spleen during surgery??? If so wow! That is a big boo boo.
