any here experience being really gassy after uppergi series..yuck?

Had the upper Gi series yesterday. They had me ingest a rocky substance then a little water. I had to hold in the urge to burp then drink something else.... Ive been gassy and burping ever since....
anyone else experience the same ?
 chime in and let me know .

It was alka seltzer or something. I just had to do one a couple weeks ago - after a couple hours, I felt fine, but it was very uncomfortable with a little tummy.

I had my upper gi last month and boy oh boy does it makes you gassy and crampy.I was told after 1 day i was fine but it does make you feel a littel uncomfy.

exactly.... still getting rid of gas 3 days later.
 felt better after 2 days
but ugh....for a test,Gee!

 Oh my goodness I think the Upper GI series is the thing I'm dreading most post-op!!! I can't imagine what it's like with a teeny little sleeve tummy. When I had it about 6 years ago (checking for stomach problems), I felt like a Coca-Cola bottle filled with Pop Rocks and shaken on max speed for a good day, day and a half after the procedure. I was sooooooo miserable. Hopefully that feeling goes away for you soon! I do remember drinking milk did NOT help at all, for whatever reason. I had thought it would...but it was way worse. 

Coca-cola filled with pop rocks is exactly how it felt, nasty..... bloat ...
yeah, now that you mentioned it, that on a newly sleeved tummy sounds brutal....ugh
