Ok I am 2 weeks out I don't have a great big list of foods to choose from I am in the pureed/soft food stage. Here is what I can eat.

Lactaid milk, crystal light, sugar free Popsicles, sugar free jell-o, low sodium broth, egg beaters. Greek yogurt, soft tofu, sugar free pudding, fish(tuna, crab meat, sole, flounder) chicken breast, extra lean turkey, beef, pork or chicken, fat free ricotta cheese, fat free re fried beans. canned or frozen veggies, bananas, unsweetened applesauce. canned fruit (not in syrup)

I have been on liquidids all this time and I don't know if I am just afraid to do it (meaning the meats).  Does anyone have any recipe ideas. I can only eat so much beans (if ya know what I mean) not trying to get a divorce on flatulence alone.  LOL!!!!!

I made beef stoganoff with ground beef that I put through the food processor, along with a small amount of sauteed onio and some mushroom. Then add fat free sour cream and a little milk to keep it very moist. Delicious.

I also eat a lot of hummus (but I love hummus). Just process chick peas, ff sour cream, a little lemon juice and garlic. Goes down easily.

Here's the Eggface website for Purees Foods. Scroll down to Ricotta Bake. Everyone seems to love it!   Lots of other ideas as well.

I mAde chicken salad with canned chicen, greek yogurt and a little hidden valley ranch dressing mix. Delish. Tuna makes me gag since surgery so don't eat that anymore. I also pureed chicken tortilla soup without the tortillas and put greek yogurt in that. I use greek yogurt instead of sour cream as it has much more protein.

Make mac&cheese with cauliflower instead of pasta and mash that up.

Try new things, but only one new thing a day so you can figure out what you can tolerate and what bothrs you.

Good luck, it get easier every day.

I used a Magic Bullit and would puree white meat chicken with some chicken broth, season it to taste, then puree a bit of cooked zuchini and tomato, put them on a paper plate or small dish and micro to heat at whatever temp you like.  I loved this as it was highly flavorful to my personal pallet.  I also had some creamed potato soups pureed, my Dr said that the fact that it was creamed at that particular stage of eating was unimportant due to the small amount I could eat, later of course you cannot have this once you get on mushies or whole foods.  I also pureed quinoa that was cooked in broth and seasoned.  While quinoa is a grain it is also high in protien.  I made egg salad and used the chicken flavor protien soup mix as a seasoning as I couldn't stomach it as a soup.  But it was a wonderful protien booster as a seasoning.  I also used cottage cheese in the Bullit and would add a piece of fruit or apple sauce to add to it.  Sometimes that was my breakfast or snack.

Wow, you have a lot of choices there, is been 31 days of my RNY and my team have me in stage 3 soft foods with a limited list of choices.  But I am glad, I have no issues, nauseas, or anything else.  If you register on : realizemysuccess.com, which is a Bariatric website and your Dr. need to confirm your surgery to have access to all the areas, but you can still search the receipes, they have great ones, also google for bariatric cook books and you will find free sites also.  Keep up the great job. Good luck.
Well, some of us sometimes note the no so good things about loosing weight, I have to say that it serve on my case to find a fibroid and it will be removed.  Thanks God!
