getting tummy tuck next wednesday

Hello all turned in to insurance 3 weeks ago about a tummy tuck was told today I am OK to get it done insurance paying for it all.

Getting it done Next Wednesday. I am so excited. They put me on a diet this week till surgery all protein. 3 shakes a day to. I wonder why they put me on a diet of all protein.

I will do this diet if it means I am having my tummy tuck done.

My surgeon gave me the tool. Now it is up to me to use it right.

Good luck! I hope when my time comes that the insurance will cover at least some of it. Did you have issues that led to the approval? I haven't really done much research on plastics yet...since I don't have the money yet, I figure it's too soon to look into it. I love to hear how others are faring after theirs. Be sure to keep us posted!

I have documented for the past 6 months about rashes under the folds. And I was also getting yeast infections in side of me from the infection under my folds. So they had alot of documented on me my PCP does and my weight loss surgeon did.

And my lower back hurts and I had a CT scan done on me and it showed my muscles were spread far apart so that helped me out.

My surgeon gave me the tool. Now it is up to me to use it right.

That must have been annoying dealing with the rashes, but at least it helps you get the tummy tuck! Best of luck to you!

From what I've heard, both before and after a major surgery, doctors want you on a very high protein diet to aid recovery. Check out the PS board if you haven't - lots of helpful people/advice over there!

Is your insurance paying for the whole TT or just a portion of it? I need to find your insurance if they are paying for the TT!!

They paying for the whole thing. it is called a radical abdominoplasty and my insurance is covering it in full.

My surgeon gave me the tool. Now it is up to me to use it right.
