The 2 Day Stall Buster Report!
Thanks for posting updates!!! I decided to try this, since I've been stalled @ 177 for 3-4 days then 177.2 for the past 3, so I decided to give it a try, what can it hurt, plus it'll help me focus on gettign my water in! I am drinking a protien shake right now for lunch, nectars roadside lemonade- whiche everyone said was very good, but tastes gross to me... : (, keep it up! we can all beat these stalls!
Are you tracking your food and exercise? If you are stalled at 360 for a month, then I have to say a day or two of diet tea and lemon aid is not going to change anything in the long run or do anything healthy for your body. This is a bad idea all around, if your weight isn't changing without crash dieting, then it's time to evaluate the choices your are making.
Sorry if this isn't want you want to hear, but honestly you are not doing yourself any favors.

Morning Tripmom02,
To answer your question, yes I exercise daily at one point I had stopped do to time managment issues, yes I exercise and I track my food using the myfitnesspal tool. The Idea came from my nurse who also happens to be a successful WLS patient herself. So I'm in good hands matter of fact I came off Liquids yesterday and started back with soft foods and I'm down yet another lb.
Really I think I'm doing awesome my HW:609lbs, My weight SW: 520 and my CW:352 as of this morning. So Favor or no Favor I feel like a Rock Star!

You have done amazing, I just don't think this is a good idea or something you want to do often, and I think a NURSE telling you to go to non-nutrative liquids for two days is insane.
You won't keep feeling like a rock star if you are not feeding the body what it needs, and if you are exercising while doing this little "stall buster" your body is just going to feed on itself and you will lose lean body mass, which is what you want to BUILD in order to get your metabolism in better shape.
You can do what you want, I just wanted to play the devils advocate here so that people reading this don't think "Hey, thats a GREAT idea", when it isn't.

Thanks! I don't think two days on liquids is such a big deal if you've been following your post surgery instructions and getting in the required amounts of protein, most pre-op diets required you to fast one to two days before surgery. Then post surgery most peoples diets included several days to weeks of clear liquids only.
Everyone has to find that, which works for them. I wish you the best, from the looks of your ticker seems like your doing great keep up the good work,

I don't see much harm in doing a liquid diet for only 2 days. That is not very long. Sometimes it takes a liquid fast just to mentally clear your mind and get back on track.
(i.e. Carbs becomes very addictive if you start eating them again. A two day fast helps to reduce those cravings.)
Now that you are eating soft food again, I'm sure you will keep losing. Plus, I always hear from Vets that if when the weight starts to creep up, they go back to "Phase 1" and go back to liquids for 2 weeks. (however, drinking Isopure can help with protien during that phase)
Good job! Keep up the good work!
