Learning my limits
Hi All
I don't usually start new topics but thought I would share some things I have found out about my self control limits and experience with my Sleeve.
First I really don't get hungry just head hunger / Cravings once in a while I decided early on that if I had a craving I would satisfy it and move on which worked fine up to now.
I had a chocolate craving and had a couple of pieces of very good chocolate from a high end store, It was great and craving satisfied. had a craving for a McDonald's Hamburger, got one took a byte and nearly gagged at the fat / salt and threw it away. Same with french fries. no problem until I had a craving for Fresh Market Banana nut bread. Bought a loaf figuring I would have a piece and throw it the rest away. Ummmm no, I ate the whole thing over two days (1400 Cal) So I learned there are limits to my will power and somethings taste good, go down easy and are very seductive. No more nut bread for me.
I still lost 2 pounds this week though go figure.

I think it is important that you are very honest with yourself and you are realizing your limits. i think it is entirly normal to crave goodies and one bite demonstrates your willpower. yeah the banana bread got the best of ya' but at least you own your decision and have learned and will move on. Next time try cutting off a slice or two then freeze the rest for company or a craving down the road.
