Calcium-surgeon and PCP disagree

I thank you all for your input. It looks like I've got some homework to do.

I really concern myself with calcium loss because at my age, what I dont do, will come back to haunt me. I do NOT want to be hunchback or in pain in 15 - 20 years!

My PCP typically schedules the bone density tests after 6 months of menopause so that's what we agreed to. However, I think I'm going to request one now. I need to know where I stand to make an educated decision on calcium intake.

Thanks for all the input....I really needed it!
