1. It is, in fact, not near the poster's first post. He/she has a couple dozen other posts under their belt.
2. It does have spelling errors, but so do 1/3 of the posts on this forum. I know it can be, well, gosh-darn infuriating to see "mackerel" spelled so poorly; regardless, I encourage you to rise above your fury.
3. Since they are patties, I would assume little cooking instructions would be needed, other than "place on a hot skillet until cooked", like a beef patty, or chicken patty, or salmon patty... etc.
4. Cat food is often chiefly comprised of animal 'meal' and animal by-products, often the parts of animals that people do not want to eat. I have not yet seen pet food containing Worcestershire sauce, mustard, garlic, creole seasoning, onions, and liquid smoke - all things that I find appetizing.
I'm going to be making these with salmon.
Why do you try this recipe out? Perhaps you'll be pleasantly surprised.

Thanks willy for the constructive criticism. Perhaps I should either pay better attention to my typing or use the provided spell check.
lol
BTW you can also use toona or salmond in place of makrel. Just skale your ingredients to taste. Heheheh
.....you know there is a saying about "assuming"....we must be careful.
seriously....I do not like "fishy" tasting fish....(if that makes sense)and the addition of the various ingredients help. I prefer salmon patties over mackerel patties. However, I have not found a way to cook salmon or tuna steaks so I can eat them. The only baked fish I like is tilapia with "Slap Ya Mama" seasoning. (it is a creole seasoning for those who may not have heard of it).

I was a little punchy last night, so I hope I didn't offend. I agree about fishy tasting fish, but tuna or salmon would be great!
I'm on my first day of liquids today and everything tastes a bit different -- Mackerel in particular sounded wrong in many ways last night.
Since we're both in SoCal, we should show the rest of the country how to lose!
