So easy and quick !!!!

Thin sliced Tri-Tip (2.2oz.) .....salt pepper Stir-Fry HOT about a minute.....transfer to plate....

Snow Peas, Sweet Onions, Crimini Mushrooms.....

In canola oil.....Stir Fry Hot.....with crushed Ginger, Garlic, Hoisin, Chinese 5 spice, salt pepper. about a minute and a half......

Add Tri-Tip back in for a couple of flips....than plate.

I like to keep the flavor of the meat and veggies separate to create contrast and dimension of flavors so it doesn't all taste the same.

Note: Small plate with food piled high makes it look like a lot of food!

Awesome...can't wait to try it.  What is Hoisin and is the ginger fresh or dry in a jar?  Can I find Chinese 5 spice in a regular grocery store?

Thanks for the recipe.

Hoisin probably at a major chain grocery store....ginger is in a jar minced like garlic, fresh would work fine, and Chinese 5 Spice is dry powder.....I got them at an Asian Market.

Thanks Frisco, it looks yummy but now you have me thinking of beef and broccoli. I might have to make some since it is my baby's favorite dish when we use to go to chinese restaurants the waitress would laugh at a 1 yr old chowing down on beef and broccoli.

I will have to get the ginger and chinese 5 spice if I can find it out there, I don't know what hoisin is though.

Hey Frisco,

I love looking at your food concoctions and I even shared some of the pics/things with my family to show them what "one day I will be able to eat" - I am only 5 days post-op and won't be able to eat food for at least 45 more days, so I sincerely hope you will keep posting tasty looking things like this!!

But, I have a question - I know you must zoom the camera, the portions look SO huge! How long did it take you to eat this meal? Just curious as to what maintenance looks like...
