Random thought and amazing realization!!!

When I started this journey I weighed in at 365.  I needed to lose 215 lbs.  At the time it seemed like just a distant dream and an impossible  goal to meet.  Well I had surgery Aug.22 and today I weigh 287.4 and am down 77.6 lbs. with 137.4 lbs. to go.  Wow 137 lbs sounds so much more realistic goal to meet than  215 lbs lol.  This is an awesome journey and I don't regret it for a second.  I am changing my health and life and I feel alive.  I can move better, fit in seats better (didn't feel sandwiched in the movie seat when I went and saw Breaking Dawn with BFF over weekend), fit better in booth seats(my tummy isn't right up on the table lol), I bought some 26 jeans from thrift store for 3.99 and they fit, yeahhh.  Started in  size 32 jeans.  I still have a long way to go but everything seems so possible now instead of impossible and I have a new lease on life.  Can't wait to go to the amusement parks next year and ride all the roller coasters that I have avoided for so long.  Too bad hubby won't ride any :(  Will have to find a riding buddy lol, BFF will be ready to pop come roller coaster time (She prego lol)  Anyways thanks for listening,  I know all you guys and gals up here understand the emotions we experience with this journey and can truely appreciate the  NSV's and SV's.  Yes there is ups and downs and this journey is like it's own roller coaster ride but it is damn well worth the ride and the best one I have been on yet.  Kerry

Yeah for you !!!! This journey is an amazing thing !! I just went to Disneyland yesterday and my biggest kick is being able to walk through the turnstyles straight on, and not having to do the "turnstyle turn" to get through them !!!!

You are SOOOOOO doing this !!!!

Kerry,
I am a roller coaster JUNKIE!  Hubby and I hit the amusement parks almost every summer but will admit last summer wasn't as much fun as I squeezed myself into the seats because I refuse to be too BIG to ride.  Weight loss has slowed partially due to my slacking in the exercise department but I determined to hit my 180 goal before Chirstmas.  I have 6 lbs to do.

back to origianal topic, drop me a line and I will meet you this summer for roller coasters if my schedule permits. congrats on your success so far.
