Checking in to see how you all did over the holidays so far
Hope you are all doing well and that you have all managed through this portion of the holidays. I have to say I have done well (in my eyes) I hit my "Christmas" goal the day after Christmas, but I will take it. I am now officially under 190!!!
May you all have a happy wonderful New Year and Keep Rockin those sleeves!!!
To those who have yet to get their sleeves - hang in there, it is the best thing I can say I have done for myself!

I lost 3.5 lbs last week, but gained 1 lb back. I also hit a goal of being under 190 before Christmas - even with the 1 lb gain. I hope to lose the lb so I don't have to change my ticker. I'll give it a couple of days and see what happens.
I found out that bread makes me feel like crap. I'm glad it's not a trigger.
I had a lot of food funerals during the family get togethers. I watched family members pile their plates high with food and I had almost nothing, For the first time, I was pissed I couldn't eat more. It did make me realize that I need to spend time really slowing down and enjoying what I'm eating just in much smaller amounts instead of wishing I could eat more. Volume has always been my enemy and I am SO thankful for my Sleeve and I think the food funerals helped me find a new appreciation for my Sleeve.
I have a lot to work out in myself with food and I realized over Christmas that I've been focusing so much on the weightloss, I've forgotten to work on the head stuff along the way.
I guess in all, it was a good holiday.

Sounds like all in all it was a good holiday. Just remember though that while they are eating more and you are eating less, the eating more helped get you to where you were.
I hope that lb will disappear as fast as it came, of which I am sure it will because I find I go up and then go down. It is all just normal body fluctuations. Hang in there - you got this!

I did well, all in all.
Had one planned indulgence - a small (two bite) piece of brownie with a small plop of vanilla ice cream on Christmas Eve. Knowing I was planning that helped me refrain the rest of the time, and actually planning it helped me stay under calories and carbs for that day (OK, dead on 40 carbs but still within plan).
Got on the scale this morning (I usually weigh Mondays but was traveling) and was down three pounds for the week which is huge this close to goal, just huge. Merry Christmas to me.
No more indulgences planned as I am not a big New Year's celebrator.
