Exercising for Newbies
I was in the gym on day 12, doing some very light walking. Every day after, I increased the intensity and added in hills for the resistance. I currently go to the gym 6 days a week. On day 17, I went to my first spin class (INTENSE cardio). On day 23, I walked/ran my first 5K.
I have had zero pain or discomfort since the very first day I went.
My doctor just told me "exercise, exercise" and didn't seem to care what I was doing. Since I haven't had any negative side effects, I've continued doing what I was doing.
Recumbent bike is on the agenda today!
