10 month update with pics
Awesome job! You look great - I know what you mean about struggling with the "right" goal weight. I figure I'll get to the normal BMI and play it by ear, see how much more I want to lose, etc. I'm also going to start plastic surgery consults soon, so I'll get some more information then, I'm sure.

Accordig to my BMI, I need to weight 128 lbs to be in the normal category! I think I am intimidated by that number. When I found out my lean body mass, it felt as if I had something figured out that fit me and not a generic number that caters to the masses and is only considered a guide--not that I am bashing BMI, it just does not take into consideration my age and bone mass.
Good luck with your plastic consult. I wish I could afford that! Sigh. . .maybe in a year or two.

lean body mass is everything in your body that is not fat (muscle, skin, water, blood, bones). As you are losing weight it is great if the lean body mass remains the same or increases. the body fat percentage is what we need to go down. The more LBM you have the more calories you burn at rest. BF% at 22 is great.
Keep working out and the muscle will change and begin to firm up. The more muscle you have the smaller your body will be since it has a smaller mass.
