One year (almost) Surgeon visit report.
Hello My Sleeve Sister! It is impossible to believe that a year has gone by already! I just had a tummy tuck and my arms done last week. Normal? You are ahead of me on that one. I have yet to be called normal but I certainly can't blame that on my weight!
I am 51, and a half, and I also say that no one should let their age dictate their decisions. Do it! I bet you hit 158 before you are finished. And it won't take you a year, either!

OK OK here is another 1-24-11 sleever reporting in and saying YOOHOO, WE HAVE DONE GOOD! and the best of congrats to all my sisters. I have about another 25 pounds to go, then will post photos. My BMI this morning is 23.8, so I am thrilled (down from 44.4). I do have days where I just want it to be over, I just want to get to goal, just so I can relax for 5 minutes and not obsess about everything. I think I have spent every waking minute on "the plan", the exercise, the health improvement, the supplements, the protein, weaning off the meds, well, you know what I am talking about. That is what it takes, a measure of dedication that often feels like insanity. But here we are, so close to the 1 year mark and we have added years to our lives. I am 63 yo and have lost 134 pounds, so do not let your age scare you into thinking you will be a slow loser or a failure. Yesterday was the first day I woke up and actually felt "thin." I have felt fat all through this process, until yesterday. And even though I got compliments at 60 pounds down, then 100 pounds down, I did not get the rave, jaw-dropped compliments that go on and on and on until I was down 130 pounds. When they have to stare at you for a long time to finally recognize you---that is when you know you have truly transformed yourself. Love and hugs to all my sisters!
