I had a FANTASTIC homemade peanut butter  protein bar at a health show.  That got me thinking... Do any of you have good protein powder dessert recipes?

You know there's protein ice cream on the eggface site but I've never tried it.

I do a frozen "treat" with greek yogurt, protein powder and flavoring. Not exactly dessert but kind of a frozen wafer.

1/2 cup plain greek yogurt, about a scoop of protein powder, SF flavoring (a couple of pumps). Sitr it all together---well.  I use a melon baller and drop it on to wax paper on a sheet pan and freeze. They spread a little so they remind me of a thin mint type thing. You can play around with the consistancy to get what you like.  Chocolate with peppermint or almond is good. Vanilla powder with any flavor!   Pure protein minimal carbs.

Anything that counts as a protein drink can be frozen in an ice cream maker for a low carb ice cream. Just as legal as your protein drinks, but feels like a treat! I also flavour and sweeten Greek yogurt and put it through the machine for a yummy frozen yogurt.

You can mix protein powder with nut butters, cream cheese, coconut (unsweetened), chopped nuts, whatever sugar free sweetener you like, cocoa powder, etc and roll into balls for protein balls or pres into a pan and cut into protein bars. Jus****ch the calories, as nut butter is pretty caloric!

www.worldaccordingtoeggface.com has some pretty good protein "donuts" and muffins. Not super  high protein, but a good go-to when a craving for something yummy is difficult to ignore.
