6 weeks tommorrow

6 weeks tommorrow and I have lost 40 lbs since surgery, and 58 lbs with pre-surgery weight loss. Yeah! Cloths are falling off, literally, I have sewn my pants in at the waist. I am very exited, working out 3-5 times a week. No appetite, not hungry, but eating every 3 hours or so. Getting my protein and water in. So all in all things are going great.

But, on a side note, a little depressed. Food was once a big comfort. I feel like I lost a close friend, a little sad I know, but it's so true. I wish my mind would keep up with my body.

Congrats to you, those are really great numbers! And working out 3-5x a week is excellent. Does working out get easier every week as you lose? I've heard the depression thing is normal and I'm not looking forward to it. I think it's natural to mourn- even though you know you're doing the right thing, getting much healthier, etc etc, it's normal to be a little sad as you're saying goodbye to a friend. So acknowledge it, accept it and say adios!

Congrats on the loss, both of them. Your brain will catch up. My new "comfort" food is peanut butter...1 tbs a night and i am satisfied. Enjoy your Journey!
