I am really going to miss food
You will go through a mourning so to speak of "food"..
But when all is said and done down the road you will be able to eat fairly normal food. My tastes have changed so much since surgery.
I don't want junk at all. My hardest thing is bread as I still miss it.. I know to stay away for now as it would be a slippery slope.
I can sit and eat with my family. I can easily go out to dinner with my family.
This WILL be the hardest part pre-op as post op is so much easier.
Hang in there ..stay busy.. And most important keep your eye on the prize!!!!
