Stalls later on?

 Hi there!

I'm 8 months out and Mr. Scale has not moved in AGES.

I'm on track with my protein, calls, carbs, etc. Exercising a little (could be better with this)

Wondering if a stall is possible? Could this be where my body wants to be (5'8" and 166)? Do I need to mix it up?

Thoughts?

The last few pounds are fighting against me hard-core!  I am trying to tighten things up eating-wise to get them off.  Trying to lower my calories below 800 and carbs as low as possible (30 or under) with lots of water.

At your current height and weight, you may have hit your sweet spot unless you want to reduce your intake to get to your original goal.

I've got 6 pounds left and really want to get there, even though I've already hit my surgeon's goal.

We'll see how it goes.

5'5"    Goal reached, but fighting regain.  Back to Basics.
Start Weight 246    Goal Weight 160    Current Weight 183

Starting size: 22, 2x
Current size: 12, L

I really hope this isn't it, although I'm thrilled with the loss so far, I still have some fat to get off. I'm planning on bumping up the exercise (which I know may prolong the 'stall' but will have good over all efforts). I really tightened up on my calories and carbs about the same time this started so I'm wondering if I need more. It's not like I'm going bananas though (800 cals and 50 carbs is my limit).

*sigh*

You get so used to the big losses, it's kinda sucky to go back to seing no movement on the scale, although I know I'm smaller.

Maybe I need to quit the bellyachin'!

Thanks SS!

This WAS going to be MY back to basics week, but I caught the cold from hell, and as an asthmatic, I'm now back on oral steroids... more weight gain... and I feel like crap. but I tell myself that it's been MORE than entire year since I've been sick, and that my healthy eating/ really taking my vitamins all contributed to my health....so...I'll wait out the steroids and their after effects, and hit the back to basics in another couple weeks....and join you in the "fight for the last few" pounds.....

If you are staying within your nutrition guidelines and drinking plenty of fluids, it may help to mix things up a bit. Vary the exercise routine, alter the times or content of your meals a bit. I think the body gets used to the same old routine and mixing it up can sometimes help.
