An update on my sleeve, my daughters progress and my husband...

Thanks so much for this post!  I was hoping that things went well with your daughter, no problems with the flying post-surgery, etc., and that she was doing ok back home.  I think it would be awesome to have everyone on the same page at home, eating the same portion sizes and same kinds of healthy choice foods that the program recommends (even if your husband fudges a bit).

Your story is a wonderful inspiration, positive proof that success IS possible (there are several of you vets on here that are very good at keeping us newbies energized!).  Thanks again!

what a great story..thanks for sharing!  You must be so proud of your daughter.

Doesn't it just make you mad how those men lose so easily...even when they don't follow the program..so unfair!!  but glad he is doing well despite himself.

keep up the good work!

Thank you for sharing your family's journey. I hope things continue to work for your husband. It must be very heart warming to see the wonderful changes in your daughter, both physically, emotionally, and mentally. WLS is indeed a gift and I am grateful everyday for mine.

Congratulations to you, for reaching a normal BMI!! That is a wonderful feeling.

I hope I can be a good role model for my family as you have for yours. My 11 year old niece and I are wearing the same sizes. My sister is very heavy, as I was, and her SMO husband died in November at 47. I want to save my life, and I want them to save yours, the way you wanted your husband and daughter to. Blessings on you all!
