Early April isn't far from late March, it's all good! How far out of town? I know everyone is different, but I actually felt great from about 48hrs-until the 5-6th day, then the pain increased a bit behind the big incision. It wasn't bad enough to need pain meds though, so you would probably be okay just depends on how much car time & if you can take breaks (remember the increased need for circulation during that timeframe!).

yeah, i was just hoping to have a week recovery time before going... it's not too far... just to DE, 2 - 2 1/2 hrs in the car... we deff can stop and strech... i dont like to but we will because i know i will need to... i told hubby we'll plan on going but we'll play it by ear depending on how i'm feeling... thx for ur input, it's nice to hear that u were feeling good... i just hope i am too :-)
