need suggestions

I'm going on the Heritage Tour with my daughter and 170 other 8th graders and chaperones in less than 2 weeks.  All meals are provided, but I plan to bring supplies to make sure I get what I need for meals.  The director said I could have space in the cooler for a few things like cheese sticks and yogurt.  I also plan on bringing some nuts, and fruit.  I'd also like to bring some protein bars, but haven't used them up to now.  Do folks have suggestions for bars that are low in carbs and calories, but have a good amount of protein, or other portable forms of protein?  We'll be gone for a week and change hotels every 1-2 days.  I'll probably bring a couple of cans of protein shakes as well.  Thanks!

I like Quest Bars... the all natural line seems to be my favorite so far.

If you like tuna, those little snack kits would be good. Maybe hard boiled eggs.

I like pure protein bars (180 cal, 20g protein) or premier (270 cal, 30 g protein).

I'm not a big tuna fan, but the bars sound good.  I used Pure Protein Shakes when I was on liquids, as it was the most palatable shake I tried, and it was low in carbs and calories.  Thanks!

I have found beef jerky to be a good portable source of protein. A two ounce stick has only 120 calories 1 gram of carbs 3 grams of fat and 23 grams of protein. Does not need refrigeration either and has a long shelf life. Hope this helps
