2 weeks til Surgery, have a question..
I don't think theres really a rule or an average for the pre-surgery period. The point of the pre-surgery diet is to burn up some glycogen and shrink the organs to make surgery easier and less risky.
I will tell you, from my experience at the pre-surgery diet, alot of the off the shelf supermarket shakes were crap. They tasted good but nutritionally were not that good. Look at the recommendations for stage II (full liquids) shakes on your diet and try those.

There is not set amount that you are going to lose, some lose alot, some none at all. I would expect with the massive decrease in calories and fat, you will lose something, it all depends on your own body. I know personally I started at 308lbs and during my two week pre op diet, I lost 10 pounds. Good luck on your surgery!
I lost 20, but it varies from person to person... most seem to lose between 10 and 25.

I only lost 2lbs. And I was rather pissed off about it. But I lost 10lbs the first week post-op and at my weight that's pretty considerable. I know people who have lost over 20 and then me with only 2, you'll probably be somewhere in the middle, I know that isn't a ton of help.
