Poll: PB2

I'm interested in PB2, but haven't purchased any.  I'm trying to figure out if it's worth me buying a container... if I'll actually use it.  Also not sure where to buy it, except online.

Do you use PB2?
If so, how?
Where do you buy it?
Is it worth the cost and do you recommend it?

Thanks!!

Yep I add it to my chocolate shake to take away some of the sweetness (that and a 1/2 tbsp of dark unsweetened cocoa powder).  It's next the the peanut butter at my commissary.

I just bought it myself and will try it later.  The best deal I found was at netrition.com.  You can buy single jars for 3.99 and a flat rate o**** shipping.  Amazon and Bell Plantation charged over 10.00 for shipping.

I like it. Good for adding flavor without the extra fat and calories. I got mine at vitamins plus inside drug emporium. If you have any health food stores locally check there before going on line.

If you go to Bell Plantation's website, you can find a "store locator" where you can see if there is anywhere near you that sells it so you don't have to pay for shipping.

I plan to try and pick some up this afternoon, if the place near me actually has it in stock.

I will be using it starting Monday to make my protein shakes taste like more than watered down chocolate milk. I'll be sure to let you know how that comes out.

I bought one container to use in shakes.  It blends well :)  One container will last me forever too it seems, as I do not use it frequently.  I bought it on Amazon.  I would buy it again and eventually want to add it into some baked goods and see how it works.

To me, there's no real flavor diff btwn plain PB2 and peanut flour (peanut flour is cheaper.) Also, before I bought a container- I went to Bell's website and they were selling individual packs for cheap.. that way I tried one of each before spending more money. I like it two ways, in my shake so I can have a PB cookie shake, and for cooking, that's it. Netrition has peanut flour as well as PB2, but if they still sell trial packets at Bell Plantation- try that first..

Thanks Jo!  Are they nutritionally comparable as well?  The stats on the PB2 look pretty good.
