Whatcha Eating Today VSGers? Monday

Hi all!  Sorry I was absent (and that this thread was absent) for a few days.  Vegas was FUN!  I have a few related stories to tell and some pics to share, but will do that later when I have more time.  I ate way better than I thought I would.  I actually ate less than I normally would, for the most part.  I was so focused on seeing the sights and doing all kinds of fun stuff that food was a distant second.  That's pretty rare for me.

For now, here's the daily intake:

B: one whole egg and one egg white scrambled
L: ww string cheese, 1 oz grilled chicken
S: ww string cheese, raw broccoli w/ 1T light three cheese ranch
D: 3 oz sirloin, 5 spears asparagus

water: half done
vites: done
exercise: not sure yet... although, in a different form, I plan to exercise control to not eat the caramel chocolate cupcakes with buttercream frosting that someone brought into work today.

Oh, and I LOST weight on vacation.  Yes, you read that right.  Pretty awesome!  More to come on that in my future post on my trip.

B: 1 1/2 turkey meatballs w/ 1/4 c brown rice
S: 2 Large strawberries; 1 mini baby bell
L: 1/2 c home made turkey chili; 1 c salad greens
S: ??? i packed some greek yogurt w/strawberries.  not sure if I'll get to it before I leave work.
D: 3-4 oz of rib eye; 1/2 c brocoli stir fry
S: greek yogurt w/strawberries.

Vites: done
Water: working on it
Exercise: not today...

SW: 342 lbs / CW: 175lbs / GW: 150lbs

 Wow! I am really anxious to hear about your trip. Congratulations on keeping the focus away from food! So I am sitting here on my bed, missing work, feeling sorry for myself because I had arthroscopic knee surgery on Thursday. It' actually not that bad, but I don't sit well and have people wait on me well. Especially the husband who keeps offereing me cookies and then saying "oh, I forgot".

D: Morningstar burger, broccoli

Well, double chocolately chip is probably the closest description. FML.


But, for breakfast I had scrambled egg whites, turkey sausage and 1/2 flat out wrap with salsa. VERY good.

Then, it went downhill and every time I went by the kitchen in work, I grabbed a piece of a cookie (b/c it's just a small piece right...?). Well, there was a lot of walking by the kitchen.

For lunch, I finished my breakfast (I didnt eat it all) AND I went to the gym for an awesome workout. Love the fuel from the cookies :)

I'll have some turkey/cheese roll and cottage cheese for snack, and some stuffed chicken breast for dinner as long as I stay away from the cookies. Actually, after coming back from the gym, the desire to eat it was GONE.

So, burnt the damn cookies off and back on track for over 100 g of protein :)
