Hi,
My name is Elise and I just recently had my VSG scheduled for April 30th. In doing research I found this site and decided to join. I am currently on day 4 of the pre-op diet and finding it really difficult, just really hungry all the time! Hopefully the hunger will get easier from here on out, I'm eager to start this journey! :)

I wish I knew what to tell you about the pre op diet, but I did not have to do one. This is a great site and much support and information to be found on here.

Welcome! What is your pre-op diet, might I ask? All liquid?

Mine is scheduled for April 27 so I'm only 3 days ahead of you.

Hi,
My pre-op diet consists of 3 meal replacement protein shakes per day, and one "real meal." The real meal guidelines are 4 oz lean protein, 1/3 cup carb, 1/2 cup dairy, and 1 cup non-starchy veg. Are you doing a pre-op diet?
